Keeping to the forum topic. Remember most free mail domains allow forwarding of any emails they recieve to another email address. With the exception of Hotmail, MSN, Live mail, which does not allow forwarding, providers such as your Uni email, Gmail, Yahoo all allow you to forward emails to other locations.

This is advantageous as it means you can still get personal emails to your new address, without having to go around telling everyone your new email.

If you would like help with any particular email domains and forwarding please let me know.

thaz really gud advice, GR, i know that i personally held off getting proper new emails for a while before cause of the the fear that i dun bother to check mails in da new account, and forget abt it.

then i found out abt forwarding, solved everything.

HI There !!

Yep, you people are right. In the student life we can take any type of email ID's. But once we get into our careers, we should choose and nice decent formal ID. No one should get irritated with our ID.

I do not see Gmail is superior to Hotmail too, not only the reputation of a watch. You can send and receive double (cons 20MB to 10MB in a single e-mail), which is convenient for a designer like me. Really you give interested topic. I like this topic very much.
