I think it really depends on what kind of a job it is, different jobs calls for different preparations, different ways to dress for it etc, but i think things like pen and notepad is a must :) oh and a phone, incase your running late lol!

Firstly. ake a copy of your Cover Letter and CV, refer to thread, http://www.australiaworks.com.au/resume-tips/a-cover-letter-can-do-wonders!/msg283/#msg283, in regards to Cover Letters if you do not already have one.

Also a general rule i keep for myself is to usually wear a clean white shirt, not a T-shirt but a business shirt, you do not have to go all out and have french cuff links however, you should always tuck it in. Leather shoes are also preferable, but not gastly white alligator skin ones from Taro Cash, plain black ones will do.

And lastly, take a smile and a firm handshake, maintain good eye contact, and remember... if you have an interview it means they like what they see on paper already, they just need to be impressed by what they see in person!

thats a really good tip by wurger as well, researching the company beforehand, now i dont mean write a report, but maybe learn a few little facts about the company or maybe things like recent events, like business awards that u can congratulate them on, its little things like these that set you apart from the rest of the applicants, and with the way things are, you need every little bit of edge as you can get :)

Hi There !!
Frequently asking question in the interview is self introduction. You should explain your skills, strength and weakness in this section. Dress semi formally and be clean and tidy.

Hope it helps :)
